Enter a world of mystery and excitement with the augmented reality escape room app MazeARunner. Solve puzzles, find clues, and escape within immersive virtual environments.

The key concept and challenge were to incorporate the idea of an augmented reality portal into the design.

Why Escape Room?

Immersive Experience: it offers an immersive experience by seamlessly merging the real world with virtual elements, elevating the gameplay to a whole new level.

Realistic and Dynamic Puzzles: it enables the creation of dynamic and realistic puzzles that respond to players' actions, fostering unpredictability and excitement.

Location Flexibility: it allows players to enjoy the escape room adventure anywhere, turning everyday environments into thrilling gaming spaces.

Location-Based Gameplay
Leveraging the app's location-tracking capabilities allows for creative puzzle designs tailored to specific physical environments.

Multiplayer and Social Interaction
Incorporating multiplayer functionality enables players to collaborate or compete with friends, adding social engagement and fostering teamwork.

Dynamic Puzzles
Designing challenging and dynamic puzzles that respond to player actions adds depth and excitement to the experience.
Spatial Screen Size
In order to maintain dmm** size of your screen-space layout, you must scale your UI container in world space based on it’s intended viewing distance.
As an example, if your UI is intended to be seen from 2.5 meters away, you will need to scale it within your 3D environment by 2.5x for it to be readable at that distance.

The concept of Portal
The portal is immersive gateways that seamlessly transport users from the real world to virtual environments. These portals serve as dynamic entry points where the physical and digital realms converge, offering a captivating and interactive experience.

Escape Room Fans:
People who have visited traditional escape rooms at least once, and are looking for a fresh and exciting twist on the concept.
